FAVES
FAVES is a Tokyo-based singer-songwriter born in 1991,
working within the realms of Japanese Neo-Soul and Alternative R&B.
Strongly influenced by Black music, his sound blends refined vocal craftsmanship
with lyrics that weave the beauty of the Japanese language.
His voice moves effortlessly between deep, resonant low tones,
piercing high registers, and soft, expressive falsetto,
creating a wide emotional and dynamic range.
In 2020, FAVES was discovered by Shuichi Ikemori of DEEN
and released his first mini album 「Ivy」 as part of the duo connect with Alé.
Since then, he has performed as a support vocalist for leading Japanese artists,
including Nariaki Obukuro and TRY-TONE,
sharing the stage on numerous major performances across Japan.
In 2024, he co-founded his own label, connect Records, with Alé
and officially launched his solo career under the name FAVES,
continuing to release a series of singles.
Though his songs are written in Japanese,
his genre-transcending sound and exceptional vocal work resonate beyond language and borders,
earning high praise from listeners around the world.
